School Indoor Entry

Please complete this form to enter the South Schools' Indoor Hockey Tournament during the autumn term 2017. The deadline for entries is 16:00 Friday 28 April 2017. There have been issues trying to enter using a Mac, please use a Windows based machine.

There will be three rounds in the event, preliminaries, pools and finals. The preliminaries will be reasonably local. The pools are fully regional. Some teams will be given byes to the pool stage, the number will depend on the number of entries in individual events.

Berkshire girls are running their own event and teams should enter directly with Eilish.

Late entries will only be accepted if there are available places in the required heats.

- entry fee £20

- pool umpire fee approx £35

- finals fee approx £120-£140

The entry fee will be invoiced in November or December and cover entry to the competition, the pool and prelim rounds, with the exception of a charge for the umpires at the pool stage. We will request umpires from SCHUA for the pool round and will charge those pools who get umpires, in 2016 all pools had appointed umpires.

There will be a penalty free period in September during which schools may withdraw. From 01 October any team withdrawing from the event will be invoiced a penalty of £200.

The preliminary stages will be around the time of the October half term. To help us avoid allocating you a preliminary during a time that your school is on holiday, please enter the start and end dates of your half term. For consistency the start date is the day after the academic activity finishes and the start date the day before it resumes. Staff training days count as part of the half term.
